Ingredients
  • 1 1/2  lbs  boneless skinless chicken breasts  sliced (against the grain) into 1/2-inch thick strips
  • 3 bell pepper I use green, yellow and red , cored and sliced into strips
  • yellow onion  thinly sliced
  • cloves  garlic  minced
  • Tbsp  oil olive, canola or vegetable
  • 1 lime
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 8-10  small flour tortillas
  • Desired toppings: Sour cream, sliced avocado or guacamole, pico de gallo, shredded cheese
Fajita Seasoning:
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne optional
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions
  1. Light grease a large sheet pan with non-stick cooking spray. Cut chicken and vegetables into strips. Lay the vegetables evenly on the pan and place the chicken on top of them.
  2. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  3. Combine seasoning ingredients together in a small bowl. Stir well to combine. Sprinkle most of the seasoning over the chicken, and some of it over the vegetables as well. Spoon minced garlic on top of the chicken and drizzle olive oil over the entire pan. Toss everything well and spread it into an even layer across the pan.
  4. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through (165 degrees if you test with a thermometer). Wrap the flour tortillas in foil and place them in the oven to warm during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
  5. Remove everything from the oven. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the chicken and vegetables and sprinkle with cilantro. Serve in warm tortillas with extra toppings, if desired.

DID YOU KNOW THIS?

QUESTION: Do you love the festivities of lights you put up for Christmas, Easter, Valentines, ECT....?

Ok so you have probably started setting up for Christmas 2017 already like most of us have right, your little ones, grandbabies are so excited and seeing the bright lights wanting to touch them with oooooos and awwwws so you get out your camera to snap a few pics to watch their eyes grow bigger and bigger with each passing look of overwhelming joy, I simply see no harm in this you think joyfully to yourself but !!!!!!WAIT STOP!!!!!! Did you know these beautiful things called lights are actually coated in a very dangerous amount of lead YES I SAID LEAD the TOXIC thing we all know well.

See our everyday environment is full of toxic chemicals—including pesticides in our food and water, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in vehicle exhaust, and flame retardants in upholstery—and that these substances can cause neurodevelopmental disorders in children, But on Christmas lights come on. Apparently lead is applied to the polyvinylchloride (PVC) wire covering to keep the plastic from cracking. In 2008 there was a study done researchers from Cornell University tested 10 light sets and found lead on all of them, at levels that surpassed the Environmental Protection Agency’s limit.

Then a study was conducted in 2010, found that 54 percent of lights had more lead than regulators allow in children’s products. I know I am in a shock to I cant believe this. The levels in each of the four types of lights it tested exceeded the Consumer Safety Commission’s limit for children’s products. California requires a warning label on electrical cords that have more than 300 parts per million of lead. But selling Christmas lights coated in lead is perfectly legal. But I look at it as we've all played with em so in all opinions use and play at your own risk AKA all things come with some risk.

Have A very Merry Christmas and A Very Happy New Year
                                    GOD BLESS
